Glowing radiant skin starts with a great skincare routine.
Start with Pixi Skintreats Nourshing Cleansing Balm ($20). This gentle cleansing balm that removes all traces of makeup as it nourishes, leaving skin silky soft. Apply to a dry face and feel the balm melt into your skin both am and pm. Skin loving ingredients like sweet almond oil, cocoa butter and shea butter and Vitamin E leaves my skin feeling plumped and moisturized. It also has a lovely sweet scent!
Step #2 to glowing skin is Exfoliation. Dull skin is caused by dead skin cells collecting on the skins surface. Pixi Glow Tonic ($29) removes dead skin cells for healthier looking bright skin. It contains 5% glycolic acid that is buffered with aloe vera and ginseng to soothe the skin. This has been a staple in my skincare since…well since it launched! Step #3 is Moisturize and Treat. Pixi Skintreats Rose Oil Blend ($24) is new to me and wow am I glad I discovered it! Launched in the spring of this year, I feel like this product was made for us over 40 ladies. Formulated with rose oil to preserve youthfulness, vitamin and antioxidant packed pomegranate oil, rose geranium oil to tone and balance and vitamin E to protect, nourish and strengthen. This oil is a bit thicker than say an argan oil so I like to use it only at night. If you have extremely dry skin, you should use am and pm. Massage two or three drops onto cleansed, toned skin. Alternatively, add a few drops to your regular moisturizer. This is a lovely treatment for anyone concerned with dehydrated, dull or sagging skin, as it ‘feeds’ your skin cells while maintaining moisture levels and increasing elasticity. While I love the beautiful rose/orange fragrance, if you are sensitive to scents it could be off-putting. The dropper bottle is much appreciated!
